- Read and interpret blueprints
- Capable of reading measurements by use of tape measure, calipers and micrometer
- Working knowledge and ability to maintain all fabrication machinery
- Knowledge and understanding of the capabilities and hazards of electrical DC and AC equipment
- Able to skillfully operate punch, brake, shear, lathe, mill and saw
- Know and understand the compressed oxygen and volatile gas cutting equipment and its capabilities
- Physically able to climb, full mobility of arms, legs, hands and back is essential to this postion
